Texas Longhorns Players To Watch:

Offense: Quarterback – Quinn Ewers – Senior

Ewers will look to rebound after he struggled against Georgia in which he threw for 211 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. He figured things out in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to get the Longhorns in control, he will hopefully have it figured out for this test against Vanderbilt who have surprised this season.

Defense: Linebacker – David Gbenda – Senior

Anthony Hill Jr. is the leader on this defense, but Gbenda is the veteran and leads the team in solo tackles, he faces a tough test in Diego Pavia who he will have to watch at all times in the Commodores backfield because he could break one or stay pat and spin it, watch for Gbenda’s name to be called.

Bottom Line: Texas Looks to Get Right

The Longhorns are still alive for a chance at the SEC Championship, but they have to get things right this week with some big conference games coming up. The offense needs to get back to clicking on all cylinders like it did through the first five weeks of the season in which they averaged 45 points per game, if the offense can get back to that they can beat anyone in the conference.
