Miami Players To Watch:

Offense: Running Back – Jordan Lyle – Freshman

Lyle had a big game last week and now leads the team in rushing as he has averaged 90.5 yards per game, that’s more so due to the fact he ran for 104 yards and a touchdown last week, he also had 71 yards two weeks ago against Ball State. With Virginia Tech he faces a rush defense that ranks 16th in the ACC so he should have no problem having another 100-yard game.

Defense: Defensive Back – Jaden Harris – Sophomore

Harris will line up against Jaylin Lane the Hokies top receiver, he will look to shut him down and take him out of the game as well as slow down a Virginia Tech passing attack that struggles, don’t be surprised if he also has an interception in this game.

Bottom Line: Miami Kicks Off ACC Play

ACC play has arrived for Miami, and it comes with a family affair as Cam Ward will face his cousin in Kyron Drones who is the quarterback at Virginia Tech, the two also train together in the offseason. Miami will look to establish the same they have this season and they should handle business in a matchup that features two teams that have had a bit of a rivalry since the Big East days. Another name to watch to have a big day is Xavier Restrepo as he and Ward have become a dangerous combo.
