Texas Longhorns Players To Watch:
Offense: Running Back – Jaydon Blue – Junior
Blue is coming off his best game of the season as he rushed for 124 yards with three touchdowns and had a touchdown reception. Now he faces a Bulldogs defense that gives up 216.8 yards per game, look for him to feast once again this week.
Defense: Defensive Back – Malik Muhammad – Sophomore
Muhammad has four pass deflections this season which leads the Texas defense, he will look to slow down a Mississippi State passing attack that ranks in the middle of the pack in the SEC, and look for him to make a statement in Saturday’s game.
Bottom Line: Texas looks to go to 5-0
Texas will look to advance to 5-0 before the bye week as they head into their two toughest matchups of the season they’ll have the Red River Rivalry right after the bye before they get Georgia, this will allow Quinn Ewers time to get healthy as well before those two big games. Having a bye following this will also help the kids not overlook a Mississippi State team that hasn’t looked good this season so they will be focused and should remain undefeated into the bye.
