Michigan Players To Watch:

Offense: Running Back – Kalel Mullings – Senior

Mullings needs to take control of the backfield this week, he averages 96.6 yards per game and 6.1 yards per carry. He faces a Spartans defense that ranks 12th in the conference against the run, Michigan may not know who will be in at quarterback for this game but they should know who’s getting the ball to make plays out of the backfield and he should feast against this defense.

Defense: Defensive End – Josaiah Stewart – Senior

Stewart is a game-changer on this defense, he needs to start making those plays as he has over the last three games in which he’s had 14 total tackles and 3.5 total sacks good for 4.7 tackles a game and 1.2 sacks per game, look for him to apply pressure to Chiles and make life tough for the Spartans in a game that has this Wolverines team ramped up.

Bottom Line: Rivalry Game

The battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy is here, and these teams this season seem evenly matched, the Wolverines had higher expectations while the Spartans had lower expectations and they come into this game with identical records. The Wolverines need this one if they want to reach a Bowl Game as they have four games left after with one of those against Oregon next weekend and the other against Ohio State to end the regular season.
