This morning, the top-rated running back in the 2026 Class in Savion Hiter, announced his commitment. The final four choices were down to Tennessee, Michigan, Ohio State, and Georgia. Hiter chose Michigan. Hiter is playing his college football at Louisa County in Mineral, VA. He’s the 17th-ranked nationally ranked player and the number two-ranked player in Virginia. A five-star rated player. His first game this season kicks off next Thursday night.
Savion Hiter
The 5-foot-11.5-inch, 200-pound running back ran for 1060 yards on 150 carries, good for a 7.1 average in his sophomore season. He finished with ten touchdowns and five 100+ yard games. Hiter averaged 117.8 yards per game, and his longest run was for 78 yards. He also hauled in five passes for 91 yards, averaging 18.2 yards per game. He also scored one touchdown. He also played in this past season’s Under Armour All-American game. His stats for last season were not able to be found.
