Lions To Watch:
Offense: Quarterback – Jared Goff
Goff will face the Packers at home, Green Bay’s passing defense ranks 19th in the league while Goff has his passing attack at fifth. He is averaging 248.5 yards per game, if the Lions want to take control and sweep the season series against Green Bay he will need to not turn the ball over and dial things up as he has to this point in the season.
Defense: Linebacker – Jack Campbell
With all the injuries on the Lions defense, Campbell has stepped up and he leads the team in tackles as well as being a key piece to why they rank fifth in the league against the run. This week he will need to slow down Josh Jacobs, despite allowing 95 yards on the ground in the previous matchup they still held him without a touchdown.
Bottom Line: Big Primetime Game
The Lions will look to win their 11th straight game as they enter their gauntlet of the schedule. In the remaining five games their opponents’ combined records are 38-22. They will need to win this game to keep their pace for the one seed in the NFC and have the playoffs run thru Detroit.
