Hurricanes To Watch:
Offense: Quarterback – Cam Ward – Senior
The Yellow Jackets rank fifth in stopping the pass but Ward has played himself into the top quarterback in the country conversation as well as even the top of the Heisman race. This is a game he can continue rolling and keep putting himself at the top of the Heisman conversation.
Defense: Linebacker – Francisco Mauigoa – Senior
Mauigoa leads the Hurricanes in tackles and he faces an offense in Georgia Tech that ranks eighth in the ACC, 12th in the passing game, and sixth in the rushing attack, look for Mauigoa to get into the backfield and make life tough for Haynes King and Jamal Haynes.
Bottom Line: Miami Cant Look Ahead
The Hurricanes are three wins away from an ACC Championship appearance, Georgia Tech can cause some trouble and can’t be overlooked. The Hurricanes will have a bye next week so look for them to be focused and come out ready to roll and take care of business over the Yellow Jackets.
