Longhorns To Watch:
Offense: Quarterback – Quinn Ewers/Arch Manning
It remains to be seen who will be under center. Ewers is currently dealing with an injury so it could be Manning playing in the biggest game of the season. Either way, whoever is leading the offense needs to be on top of their game. In the last big game, this team had both Ewers and Manning played as the Texas offense struggled against Georgia. Ewers turned it around in the second half once he returned but Arch struggled. They need to be dialed in for sure on Saturday.
Defense: Linebacker – Anthony Hill Jr. – Sophomore
The biggest game means you need your biggest players to step up. Hill has been the key to the Texas defense all season and they will be facing the second-best rushing attack in the SEC, Hill has to make his stand and help lead the Longhorns to a big win.
Bottom Line: Win an SEC Championship Game
Texas is one win away from playing in the SEC Championship Game in their first season in the Conference. Who they play remains to be seen but a loss would open the door for Texas A&M to go. What’s better than a rivalry game with a little extra on the line? This will be a big one and the Longhorns need to expect the Aggies best but also handle business and be ready to go next weekend.
