Longhorns To Watch:
Offense: Quarterback – Quinn Ewers – Senior
The Florida defense forced Carson Beck to throw three interceptions last Saturday, if the Longhorns want to avoid an upset they need Ewers to protect the ball and not allow turnovers. The Gators rank tenth in the SEC against the pass which should benefit the Longhorns and Ewers if he protects the ball.
Defense: Cornerback – Jahdae Barron – Senior
Barron leads the Longhorns in interceptions entering today and he’s facing a Gator team that has thrown eight interceptions. Aidan Warner came in for DJ Lagway last week and he threw an interception, look for Barron to take the ball away from the Gators and get it back to his Texas offense.
Bottom Line: Texas looks to keep winning
The Longhorns are heading to a big matchup at the end of the season against Texas A&M which could decide who goes to the SEC Championship game, Texas can’t overlook the next three games leading up to that, just bear down and focus on the game in front of you.
