Michigan Wolverines Name 2024 Team Captains

The 2024 College Football season will kick off this weekend but for the defending National Champions the Michigan Wolverines they will have to wait a week as their season starts next Saturday when they welcome in the Fresno State Bulldogs. The Wolverines looking to defend their title will be doing so after some key losses as they will not have their head coach Jim Harbaugh or key offensive pieces in JJ McCarthy, Blake Corum, Roman Wilson, Cornelius Johnson, AJ Barner, and some pieces to the offensive line. On the defensive side, they lost Junior Colson, Michael Barrett, Mike Sainristil, Kris Jenkins, and Jaylen Harrell. They are still loaded on the defensive side of the ball as they will still have Mason Graham, Josaiah Stewart, Ernest Hausmann, Derrick Moore, Makari Paige, Quinten Johnson, Rod Moore, and Will Johnson. On offense, Donovan Edwards will be there, as well as Colston Loveland and they will have Alex Orji under center who provides the ability to run the ball at the quarterback position and if his passing game gets figured out Michigan can be a problem once again.
