Since entering the league in 2017, Alvin Kamara has been electric for the New Orleans Saints as he has found success on the ground and in the receiving game, where he has been one of the premier pass catchers in the running back position. While the Saints haven’t been the same team since Drew Brees retired, Kamara has remained consistent through his seven seasons in the league.
While Kamara has never posted a 1,000-yard rushing season, he has continuously racked up over 1300 scrimmage yards a season and a handful of touchdowns throughout his career as he has 53 rushing and 23 receiving.
Thanks to his versatility, Kamara is on the path to joining an elite group of running backs this season. He is again on pace for 1300 scrimmage yards as he has posted 508 rushing yards and 413 receiving yards in only nine games. Suppose Kamara can reach the 1300-yard mark once again. In that case, he will be the sixth running back in NFL history with 1300 scrimmage yards in their first seven seasons, joining Eric Dickerson, Barry Sanders, Curtis Martin, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Matt Forte.
