The Baltimore Ravens beat the Dallas Cowboys 34-31 in Rio de Janeiro when Tyler Loop's field goal split the uprights as time expired. Dallas had tied the game with 7 seconds left, and the Ravens still had time to get into range.
Baltimore was outgained and ran fewer plays, but won on efficiency. The Ravens averaged more yards per play, turned the ball over 0 times and never allowed a sack.
How It Happened
Dallas scored first on a 28-yard Brandon Aubrey field goal, then made it 10-0 on a 2-yard Javonte Williams run. Derrick Henry answered with a 4-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter to cut the deficit to 10-7.
Henry scored again from 3 yards out early in the second quarter to give Baltimore its first lead. Loop added a 27-yard field goal to stretch the lead to a touchdown, and Aubrey's 38-yarder with 18 seconds left in the half pulled Dallas within 4 at the break.
Lamar Jackson found Chris Moore for a 4-yard touchdown late in the third quarter, pushing the lead to 11. Dallas responded within two minutes: Dak Prescott hit Jake Ferguson for a 19-yard score, then found CeeDee Lamb for the two-point conversion to pull within 3.
The fourth quarter produced four scores. KaVontae Turpin's 9-yard run put Dallas ahead by 4, and Jackson's 2-yard touchdown pass to Matthew Hibner with 1:30 left restored the Baltimore lead at 31-28.
Aubrey tied it from 23 yards out, leaving the Ravens almost no clock. Loop's long kick on the final play decided it.

What It Means
Baltimore improves to 2-1, and the road has been kind. The Ravens are 2-0 away from home and 0-1 at home, so their best football so far has come away from their own building.
Dallas falls to 1-2. Listed as the home team in Rio, the Cowboys drop to 1-1 at home and remain 0-1 on the road.
The loss stings because Dallas won most of the volume battles, with more first downs, more plays and more total yards. A lost fumble, the game's only turnover, and 88 penalty yards left the Cowboys without the margin to hold off Baltimore at the end.
