Lions To Watch:
Offense: Quarterback – Jared Goff
Goff is the guy to watch this week on offense for the Lions, he faces a Bills pass defense that ranks ninth in the league. The last time he faced a top pass defense was the Houston Texans and Goff in that game threw for 240 yards with two touchdowns and who could forget those five interceptions? He can’t afford to turn the ball over in this game.
Defense: Linebacker – Jack Campbell
Campbell will have the tough task with Alex Anzalone out of being the guy relied upon to contain Josh Allen and keep him in check. In the last three games of facing quarterbacks who can run the ball in Jordan Love, Caleb Williams, and Anthony Richardson they averaged 41 yards per game and 6.8 yards per carry, if Allen gets open field he will have more than that, that’s where Campbell enters. In those three games against rushing quarterbacks, he’s combined to have 20 total tackles and two quarterback hits. Look for him to make his presence felt.
Bottom Line: Super Bowl Preview?
This could be a Super Bowl Preview in week 15 with the Lions currently leading the NFC while the Bills hold the two seed. Both teams look dangerous and if things go right this could really be a preview for the big game coming up in just two months.
