Lions Players To Watch:

Offense: Wide Receiver – Jameson Williams

Williams had his best game as a pro in week one. In this one, it’s expected to be a shootout, so Jared Goff won’t be able to rely on just Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, or either running backs he’ll need all his weapons and with Tampa Bay missing safety Antoine Winfield Jr. it should open up the downfield threat of Williams. In the two games against Tampa Bay last season he had four catches combined for 88 yards and a touchdown.

Defense: Defensive End – Aidan Hutchinson

Hutchinson seemed to have no issue getting to the backfield against the Rams, now he will need to get pressure on Baker Mayfield with this expected to be a shootout, if he can make life difficult and limit the time he has to throw the Lions can come out with a win. Against Tampa Bay last season he had seven total tackles with five of those being solo, he had a tackle for a loss and one sack.

Bottom Line: Rematch of the NFC Divisional Round

The Detroit Lions took care of business in week one in a rematch of the NFC Wild Card round, now in Week Two just like last season in the playoffs will get the Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay offense was firing on all cylinders in week one, the Detroit defense will need to limit that and make the plays when they have the ball if they want to start the season 2-0 and get ready for Arizona next week.
