Michigan Players To Watch:

Offense: Running Back – Blake Corum – Senior

The Wolverines will face a tough defense in Iowa, which ranks fourth in the Big Ten in yards per game, passing yards per game, and rushing yards per game. Corum ranks 41st in rushing yards but leads the country in rushing touchdowns. Look for Michigan to rely on their star running back to lead them to a Big Ten Championship.

Defense: Defensive Back – Will Johnson – Sophomore

Johnson is coming off a big test against the Buckeyes, for which he had to cover Marvin Johnson Jr. last Saturday. He will face an offense in Iowa that ranks last in the Big Ten in passing yards per game, and they are on their backup Quarterback who has thrown more interceptions this season than touchdowns; look for Will Johnson to make an interception in this one, and give the ball back to Michigan’s offense.

Bottom Line: College Football Playoff in sight

With the win over Ohio State, Michigan all but secured their berth into the College Football Playoff, but first is a matchup with Iowa that a loss may not eliminate them, but it won’t look great. Iowa’s offense struggled to move the ball down the field, and this Michigan defense will make things a lot tougher for them. On the offensive side, Michigan needs to attack Iowa like they did Ohio State last Saturday, and everything should be perfect for them to win the Big Ten Championship for the third year. They’ll do it with their head coach, Jim Harbaugh, who is back on the sidelines after serving his three-game suspension.
