Longhorns To Watch:
Offense: Quarterback – Quinn Ewers – Senior
Ewers is coming off a game against the Gators in which he had a field day throwing for 333 yards and five touchdowns, it was his best game this season. He has bounced back after his injury and has returned to form over the last two weeks and this week he gets a Razorbacks defense that ranks 16th in the SEC against the pass.
Defense: Linebacker – Anthony Hill Jr. – Sophomore
Hill Jr. leads the Longhorns’ defense against an Arkansas offense that ranks second in the SEC overall in average yards per game, fourth in the pass and in the rush. Hill leads the Longhorns’ defense in total tackles, sacks, forced fumbles, and tackles for a loss. Look for him to be all over the field in this one putting his stamp on the game.
Bottom Line: Texas Working Towards SEC Championship
The Longhorns are working on making their way to the SEC Championship game, which if they keep winning will likely come down to the regular season finale against Texas A&M in a few weeks. The goal is to just keep winning and play their game, if they can lock in like they have over the last two weeks they will likely be facing the Aggies for the right to go to the SEC Championship in their first season. Arkansas does have a tough offense so the defense will need to be prepared but the Longhorns offense should be able to attack the Razorbacks defense and come out victorious.
