Michigan Players To Watch:

Offense: Quarterback – JJ McCarthy – Junior

The Wolverines will need JJ McCarthy to show up for this game as he has struggled the last few weeks, averaging 100.5 yards a game over those previous two. He barely threw against Penn State, only attempting eight passes; Michigan will need more than that to beat this talented Ohio State team.

Defense: Defensive Back – Mike Sainristil – Graduate Student

Sainristil has the tough task of covering the best receiver in the country, Marvin Harrison Jr, who averages 99.36 yards a game on 5.6 catches. Sainristil is tied for second in the country in interceptions; with the targets to Harrison, he will need to force a turnover and get the ball back to Michigan in what is expected to be a close game.

Bottom Line: The Season Comes Down to This

The Game has arrived, and Michigan and Ohio State are both undefeated, and there’s a berth in the Big Ten Championship and College Football Playoff on the line. A loss could eliminate one of the teams from a playoff, with all teams in contention for one of the four spots. Michigan will have to win this game with a different game plan than they have had the last two weeks, with Jim Harbaugh missing it.
