Michigan Players To Watch:

Offense: Running Back – Donovan Edwards – Senior

This week needs to be Donovan Edwards coming out party for the 2024 season, through the first two weeks of the season he is averaging 3.6 yards a carry and 34 yards a game, which won’t suffice for a player that many expected to be a superstar this season with him owning the backfield, now he’s splitting carries with Kalel Mullings whose had a good start to the season but look for Edwards to make his statement on Saturday afternoon.

Defense: Defensive Back – Makari Paige – Senior

Paige was named a captain for this season, and he’s taken that in stride as he’s been all over the field to start the season, he faces the Red Wolves offense that throws for 198 yards a game. Look for him to slow Corey Rucker and lead Michigan back to the win column.

Bottom Line: Michigan looks to get back in the win column

Michigan has a tough one next weekend and they need to take advantage against Arkansas State especially figure things out on offense even if that means potentially turning to Jack Tuttle or maybe throwing the ball with Alex Orji, every time he comes out a defense expects a run, Michigan should keep defenses on their toes and allow him to through it. Regardless they need to get back on track and get things clicking before USC comes to Ann Arbor next weekend.
