Miami Players To Watch:

Offense: Running Back – Damien Martinez – Junior

Martinez had a decent game against Louisville last weekend rushing for 89 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown, now he faces a Seminoles defense that ranks 17th in the ACC, look for him to take some of the pressure off Cam Ward and make some explosive plays for this Miami offense.

Defense: Linebacker – Francisco Mauigoa – Senior

Mauigoa leads the Hurricanes in tackles and is a force on the Miami defense, he finished last week with four tackles against Louisville and had two pass deflections. The Florida State offense is nothing special but it’s a rivalry game for these two so they will be pumped up, look for Mauigoa to make his statement on the defensive side of the ball.

Bottom Line: Miami Cant Look Ahead

The Seminoles and Hurricanes were expected to be a big game this season but due to the struggles to start the season for Florida State, it’s lost its hype. It is still a rivalry game and the Hurricanes need to stay focused and keep this undefeated season alive as they have four games after this before the ACC Championship game.
