Lions To Watch:
Offense: Running Back – David Montgomery
The Lions face a rush defense in the Texans that ranks 12th in yards per game allowed and last week they allowed 74 yards to Breece Hall, this Lions team loves to start off smashing you in the mouth with Montgomery before bringing in Gibbs with his speed. Montgomery could have his best game of the season topping week three against Arizona in which he had 105 yards on 23 carries.
Defense: Defensive Back – Carlton Davis III
Davis will have a tough task this week as the Texans will get back Nico Collins who is their top receiving threat despite missing the last four games, he still leads the team in yards. Davis will be relieved to slow down the Houston passing attack.
Bottom Line: Keep It Rolling
The Lions have won six straight games and seem to be clicking on all cylinders, this game won’t be easy but it’s a game this team looks forward to and it’ll be indoors which also benefits the Lions. They also get to see how their new pass rusher Za’Darius Smith will look against a quarterback who can be mobile. Look for this to be a good primetime game.
